Keep Calm and Carry On for the BBC (March 2010)

If you’ll excuse the poor quality of this screencast, I just found it on my external hard drive, from March 2010:

I appear for about 6 seconds in 2 different places!

Second World War Posters
Mass Communications Academic, @MMUBS. British Home Front Propaganda posters as researched for a PhD completed 2004. In 1997, unwittingly wrote the first history of the Keep Calm and Carry On poster, which she now follows with interest.

I think you will find that Edwin J Embleton (b.1907-d.2000) designed the poster, he was an old friend of mine and a local in my pub up to his death in 2000

Hi Dan. That’s interesting, and entirely possible. I know that Edwin Embleton was Studio Manager for the Ministry of Information, and that others in the series were designed by civil servants, so he may have. Wonder if there’s any kind of evidence trail? Thanks. Bex
