[SEMINAR] Room for Food, Spaces for Eating @MMUSpecial

This afternoon I enjoyed a couple of hours looking at/hearing about 19th C recipe books, and what these tell us about the aspirations (not the realities) of those living then, and then art produced in response to women’s lived lives in that era, at the MMU Special Collections reading room and gallery.

Mass Communications Academic, @MMUBS. British Home Front Propaganda posters as researched for a PhD completed 2004. In 1997, unwittingly wrote the first history of the Keep Calm and Carry On poster, which she now follows with interest.
