Facebook

Facebook screenshotIn existence since February 2004, I have been on Facebook since December 2006, introduced by Erika Harno at the University of Manchester to ensure that we could keep in contact when I left the University. I started to use it properly from April 2007 when it became the main tool for staying in touch with Oak Hall guests, and was a great tool for use whilst travelling.

“Facebook’s mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.

Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.”
