I do not believe that IPads (specifically) will replace the daily newspaper especially for the commuter, however I suspect that much more ‘focussed and personalised’ media sources, perhaps daily magazines might be a better description, because I think that what we today call ‘news’ will not be part of the mix unless the subscriber specifically requests it, is what will come to dominate our morning perusal of our hand held communication devices.
Yes, it’ll be really interesting to see how it develops. I like the idea of having what you’re interested in coming straight in in some sort of format, but I also don’t like the idea of NOT being challenged to new ideas (so sitting in your own bubble) and it will be interesting to see how that develops!!
