The impact of lecture capture on student performance @UOBETT

I have just received an email from the ALT list, from Dr John Couperthwaite, Manager of the Educational Technology Team (Uni of Birmingham), who is undertaking research into the impact of lecture capture on student performance. He notes “As with many educational studies, there is a significant degree of variability in the results no doubt as a result of differing methodological approaches and other extraneous factors”, but that there is a growing field of research, so one to look out for. See the collection of materials here.
