Healthy eating goes digital in two Limerick schools: Castletroy College and Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher are to link up with The School Food Company to roll out a programme that will encourage parents to “actively participate” in their child’s diet, in a bid to promote healthier eating in teenagers. The programme will see students use digital tags to pay for meals andsnacks, with parents able to top-up their account online and keep tabs on what their children have been buying.
