Milton Jones, comedian, including on panel shows, allows users to friend him on Facebook (of which nearly 4000 have taken advantage). This morning he announced that he had set up a Twitter account (so we know that the Twitter account is authentic as it comes from his Facebook). I signed up, one of the first 50 users to do so, just before he posted his first tweet…
I tweeted after about half an hour that he had around 600 followers, and then after about an hour… getting on for 3000 followers:
4 hours after going online/announcing it (around 3.30pm), edging 9000 followers, and a search for @themiltonjones on Twitter demonstrates how the news that he has joined is spreading like wildfire…
