I was a member of the Guide Association from Brownies, through to being an adult leader, but I did not complete my warrant as I went off to Brazil, and then university, but I have every intention of taking up Guiding again in the future (but first came the PhD, then the travelling, then the job-hunting…!)
Six of us started the Baden-Powell Trefoil, the highest award in Guiding, but I was the only one in the 1st Wolstonbury Rural Company to finish it, and even got my picture in the local paper.
I had to do many different tasks for the award, including first aid, community work, learning about Europe, etc., but after a couple of years the mission was achieved!
